The original acrylic painting was a requested commission painting in February 2026 of two foxes settled in their familiar garden setting, clearly very comfortable being so close to a family living there.

One fox rests calmly in the grass while the other sits alert on a slightly elevated patch of earth, partially framed by dense green foliage and wild plants. The composition creates a sense of quiet observation, as if the viewer has stumbled upon a peaceful moment in the wild.

Rich layers of green vegetation dominate the background, with detailed brushwork bringing texture to the grasses, shrubs, and leaves. The foxes’ warm orange and white fur contrasts beautifully against the darker greens, drawing attention to their expressive faces and natural elegance. Light filters subtly through the scene, adding depth and a tranquil atmosphere.
