‘Festive Roses’
Since being asked to paint 3 different rose commissions I have become somewhat obsessed by roses so I decided to create my own Christmas / festive design.
This festive floral artwork brings together pink roses, hellebores, winter greenery, red berries and a loose golden ribbon to create a colourful, painterly Christmas bouquet.
I love the idea of Christmas flowers being a little less traditional — plenty of greenery and berries, but with soft pinks and vibrant colours to give it a fresh, contemporary feel. It’s the sort of print that works beautifully at Christmas but doesn’t need to be packed away as soon as the decorations come down.
